I haven’t bought a gun off the rack in so long I have no idea about delays.
Are people getting delayed even with a CHL?!?
We don't buy very often, but have never been delayed and have never stated that we had the permits. I'm not even sure that there is a question on the 4473 about the permits.
I have always cleared on a Tuesday Wednesday or Thursday....Monday or Friday forget about it.

I don't think I've waited more than 2 or 3 mins. It usually takes longer to input the info than it does to get a "Proceed".
I have never been delayed before but always a first, from what i have been told it doesnt matter if you have a CCL or not cause the FBI and ATF doesnt recognize Okla's CCL due to the fact they dont think there is enough training before the license is issued like some states. And unless the 4473 has changed there is no place i know of asking for a CCL but havent filled one out in around 4 or 5 years.
Congratulations. I get delayed roughly 50% of the time. It's caused me to miss out on some deals when I've been out of town and didn't have two or three days to wait around.

I've never been delayed and can have my "PROCEED" back before I even finish signing the 4473.
