Well, it’s tricky. We seem to be rocketing towards a world war and we have a young population that cannot and will not fight and win a world war. I think they are importing an army because they know what’s coming. We keep asking about all the “military aged men” cross the border.
Historically, this had been done. Look at our own civil war. The Union was basically conscripting immigrants right off the boat. There were massive riots about it as a matter of fact. The Romans had some similar ideas just before their fall. Other Empires have conscripted outside their nations, but of the controlled foreign nations within the empire.
I have a feeling these peoples legal status and of course they will all be tax criminals, will be leveraged against them to join the military and fight the impending world war.
So they will either have a mass exodus out of the country during war time or they can earn true citizenship.
