Well, that show and a few dozen more over the years.
My Dad and I used to build driftwood furniture and peddle it at flea markets and the like,,,
We would build frantically before the Affair of the Heart,,,
That show was always a money-maker for us.
So I feel the OP's pain in being drug there against his will,,,
I probably saw thousands of bored men just like him from my side of the table.
But buck up my friend,,,

If worse comes to worst, send me a PM and we'll go out and do something like look at RV's or something. Being in Norman, we could go "snowflake hunting" and trip them up or something. Then again, there may be a bunch of them at the Affair of the Heart. That could be some awesome people watching.

The corollary "If mama IS happy, then so are you" is false.
If mama is happy, it merely means the chances of you also being happy go from zero, to a number that may not be high, but isn't zero.

Compromise my friend. I’ve seen more chick flicks and attended many functions that my time could be better served. Lost time at the range, reloading bench,deer stand etc DOES pay off.
