That's what I hate about this time of year is the damned snakes! I have a lot of pine trees on my place and pygmy rattlers L-O-V-E to lay in the pine needles that gather and mound up beneath the trees. I carry my Ruger LCR .38 Special in my pocket whenever I'm outside. The first two rounds up are CCI ratshot for the pesky, slithering vermin. The next three are Hornady Critical Defense for "bigger" vermin.
