Not bad viewing through the high, thin clouds around TUL. It's not as dark as most people expect, which is what I remember the last time I saw one.
Same. Pretty neat seeing a sliver of the sun on one side, along with the odd lighting outside.
Well, I for one am going to go against the grumpy Gus's around here and say that I think it is/was pretty cool. Hung out in the front yard with the wife and in-laws looking up at the sun through the recommended glasses. Watch it go from about 75% to whatever the max was. I'm actually kinda looking forward to the one in 2045 now.
Watched about half of it and passed on my glasses to the neighbors with kids, who I noticed didn't have any glasses. Didn't see them till the halfway point or I would have shared earlier.
