Representative Mark McCullough, a lawyer from Tulsa, is going to introduce a bill that would put a bag limit on anthlered deer (bucks) at 1 per year. Below is information on how to access the bill so you can read it for yourself. There ar some other things in the bill which I object to. It appears he wants to take some of the authority from the Department of Wildlife and give it to the Legislature or the Department of Public Safety.

Click on "status of measures"
Click on "basic search form" (top)
ON the left where it says "Measurement Numbers", type in HB2557 then click on "Retreive"
Click on "introduced" (at the top)
Look for section 5-401-D which is on page 18.

Read the rest of the bill. There are several things I object to especially the part about putting hunting/fishing info on the drivers license. Also at the home page: http://lsb.state.ok.us you can click on "House members" or "Senate members" and get all their names and email addresses. If you are against any of the provisions in this bill you need to contact as many of the representatives as you can and express your objections. Also you can contact the Department of Wildlife at http://wildlifedepartment.com or their email addressis [email protected]

Didn't I see a scathing thread somebody started the other day ridiculing us dumb okies on our QDMA abilities?
I agree, the ODWC knows what's going on and if this doesn't get their support it won't happen.
