Been reloading for a couple years now and did pretty good for a while but hit a burdan primed case and killed a pin. After that I hit a couple cases with stuck primers and ended up breaking another.

Came across these guys a little while ago but just purchased some pins recently. Heat treated and ball end to help center a little better. A little pricey at 16.95 for three but hopefully should be less apt to bend and then break.

They also have upgraded pins for 300BLK (which I picked up a set of since I convert 223 over and it's a little rough on the pin) as well as 223 pins and three different ones for standard dies.

For those people who don't want to order direct even though it is a little cheaper (a lot for some stuff) they do have stuff on Amazon as well, but so far they have been great ordering direct.

Man, I had some cheap 6.5x55 brass the other day that had small flash holes. I crapped a couple pins before just tossing the brass out of frustration. These might have saved the day. Thanks for the link.

No problem, I try to share what I can to help everyone out.

My mother in law loves cheese balls so I have a bunch of utz kegs that I keep brass in and have one for junk brass. At some point I may melt it down to make something or save it up to sell off or whatever. I have went through it a time or two to find stuff I could use for something else though, like picked out some 223 cases that the neck was damaged when I started converting to 300blk.

Well got them swapped in and the main shaft is a little longer than the original ones. Not that it matters really but some people want them to be JUST LIKE the originals and sit flush with the top of the collet that holds them. They are not smooth like the originals but IMHO that means a little more grip against the collet instead of having to crank them down to keep crimped primers from shoving it up.

Otherwise they work fine. I swapped them into my 9mm 40S&W and 45acp dies for now I size the 357sig brass in the 40S&W die first so I don't have to lube the cases and can size nickel cases so it just has a regular pin not that it's ever needed.
