I learned about the nufinish from this forum, and didn't have any available, so used some other cheap car polish and it works really well too.
If you use something different from Nu Finish make sure it doesn't have any wax in it. It will build up on your brass and media.
I believe that keeping the dust down is important to reducing your exposure to lead. Mercury too maybe - isn't mercury used in most primers? Anyway I think that tumbler dust may be one of the main ways you get exposed to "the nasty stuff."
Its the Turtle wax scratch and swirl remover, so I'm thinking its a polishing compound? Works as good as the Polish media at 4X the price.
I tumble mine in a shop building overnight, so thats not a factor.
Don 't know about the mercury in primers?
I take a dryer sheet cut it into 4 pieces, put nufinish on them. Then lay on top of the media and turn machine on. Works great for me for 2 years.
