The wife and I will be going to southern california towards the end of the year and on the way back we were thinking about stopping off at Vegas to catch a couple shows and see the sights.

Any suggestions on which shows are better than others?

This isn't much help to your question as it's been app. 3 years since I was in Vegas plus I'm not much on gambling and casino shows.
I was there for a wedding but I enjoyed the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead tour the most. If I ever go back it will be for the SHOT show.

We went about 1.5 years ago as a last second stop on the way back home the last time we were in California, but didn't have enough time to do anything except walk around the strip. We did stop off at the Hoover dam though. That was pretty cool actually seeing it in person and not on the TV.

I kinda want to see a magician or a comedian. Is that comedian/magican still out there? The amazing ??? forgot his name ???

The Amazing Jonathan. He had billboards up when I was out there in late July so I assume he's still doing shows.

I'm personally a big fan of Penn & Teller, and they're legitimate magicians as well as being hilarious (The Amazing Jonathan does some cute sleight of hand, but nothing earth-shattering). Also, the three or so times I've been out there I've gone with people who saw one of the Cirque du Soleil shows and they've always raved about them but I was always too cheap to buy tickets.

I've never heard of Dr. Naughty before. I'm guessing he's good at embarrasing people though so it should be entertaining.

The funny thing is when its over the people that volunteer don't remember anything they have done. If someone you know volunteers be sure to buy the video or they won't believe all the things they did.
