sure at fair market valueSo if I meet your asking price of $440.00 for the pistol, you'll let me have the 1600 rounds of .40 S&W ammo since you won't have a need for it any more?

LOL 80 boxes of HST 40 would be closer to 1500.00. now it is in 50 round LEO boxes and not 20 round commercial units thoughSo about seven fiddy for the package deal? [emoji16]
I didn't realize it was HST. That stuff isn't cheap.LOL 80 boxes of HST 40 would be closer to 1500.00. now it is in 50 round LEO boxes and not 20 round commercial units though
Pretty much this, its monkey see, monkey do. To quote the parlance of our times.
I tell people if the FBI started issuing SAA in 38-40 it would become the new wonder round
That's not a crazy thought.
The 38-40 sits pretty much right in the middle of the 40s&W and the 10mm in terms of velocity and bullet weight selection.
The perfect 40 caliber round for police has been the goal for a long time with the 41 Magnum in the '60s (too powerful, guns too big and heavy), then the 10mm in the '80s (too powerful, guns too big or not well made), and the 40s&w in the '90s (yay, the perfect round! - wait maybe not).
It's"close enough to perfect for me."
