EDMOND, Oklahoma – Edmond police are searching for some crooks who snatched nearly $5,000 worth of weapons from a man's garage.
The man lives in the 4000 block of Braxton Way. He says when he went into his garage on the afternoon of Sunday, September 11, he noticed his Vendetta crossbow was missing. He'd last seen it lying on his work bench the night before.
The homeowner then checked his gun safe, which was also in the garage, and discovered several weapons were missing. The man told police the safe was not forced open, because he'd left the keys in the lock of the gun safe. He says he was home at the time of the theft, but did not hear anything.
The crooks stole automatic handguns, shotguns and a rifle worth $4,800. Police do not have any leads on who the suspects might be.
