Yes it is. It somewhat surprised me. Even better is the chapter ring. These Diamatic watches are known to have faded chapter rings over time. Mine is in surprisingly good shape.

The Chapter ring on mine looks pretty bad in the pics but waiting to see it in my hand before I decide what direction I go with the refurb. Looks like I may be learning some new tricks on this one.
Either way I am stoked , have always wanted these last 2 Seiko's I have purchased.
And one of these yahoo's has me fixing to spend money on a Samuri .... lol.
