Thought I posted this shot earlier. Really like this thing. Runs decent as well . Need to get in and adjust it some because it is running +36 seconds a day with a .2 beat error.

Here’s something special. This is the next watch that’s going to be on the YouTube channel. I should have the videos ready to upload tonight or tomorrow. I couldn’t wait any longer to show it. This thing is just fantastic.

I present to you the 1976 Seiko 6138-8039 - a.k.a. ‘John Player Special’. So named for the 1976 F1 Lotus racing team. Just finished a top to bottom repair and service. It has a mint original dial. I’ve never seen a nicer one in original condition. The movement needed some work, but the dial and case were excellent.
