Amazon special. They had a few of these ‘used’ but with packaging and warranty. Not bad for 38 bucks. I looked for the other colors on special but all they had was the green.

But that Ranger -- man, -- always wanted a sleek Explorer, and now with the Ranger Tudor is seemingly making the Explorer even better than Rolex can.

The 39mm Ranger is just the perfect tool watch and a great reissue of the 90220 shown below.

No applied indices like the modern Explorer, which I appreciate. IMO, the best Explorer references all had printed dials and the Ranger gives me those same vibes.

Not knocking the Ranger, but if I had the choice over the two free I'd take the Rolex, sell it, buy a Ranger, a Pelagos and a Zulu time too.

None of them are a bad choice. I have a BB GMT. I've held the Pelagos in my hands (and another on here owns one). I've seen the Ranger. All are great watches. For me personally, I'm glad I went with the BB GMT. If I get another, it'll likely be a Pelagos (in a year or two perhaps).

And since there’s not a - “What do you watch nerds look like” thread - well, this is me
