My lovely bride said she was going shopping around noon.
Won't be long.
Silly me believed that. :D
Oh well, the wait has stepped the menu up a notch. All happily bathing in hickory smoke now.
Cored out the onion and filled with garlic and butter, added peppers and bacon on a stick.

Yes hard boiled, and I've seen them done both peeled and unpeeled before smoking........at some point they have to be peeled though :)

Nope. Put a raw egg in the smoker with the shell intact.
Occasionally there will be a little weep hole where some egg white will exit.
We let them cool off, then peel.
The peeled egg is a light brown.
I'll take pics when these come off the smoker.
