Not a thing but that is not the point of this debate. If you do not agree what they believe, they want to fine or kill you. Now that is tolerance!!!!

Because beliefs don't matter. Beliefs are subjective and subject to whims. It's wrong and illegal to discriminate on the basis of gender. God is neither male or female. You are either one of God's children or your not. When you get to heaven gender will not matter.

And now we get to the heart of the matter, the only beliefs that are important are yours and those who believe like you. Thanks for clearing that up.

One could argue that opposing beliefs are more important because it makes one consider elements that don't align with their own beliefs creating further understanding of other beliefs.....or you could blindly and ignorantly remain in the dark.

Rick, it's Christians that are holding up the gay marriage thing. Surely you don't deny this? I mean it ain't sharia law that's holding back gays from getting married in Idaho and it ain't the Jewish faith.

what other faith ordains ministers, has chapels and takes issue with gays getting married?

If they are Christians, by default they believe in God and Jesus and by default they believe in Heaven. Gender does not matter to God or Jesus when you get to Heaven. I mean do you really believe God will have different bathrooms for boys n ggirls or that marriage will even matter when you get to heaven?

Remember when you get to heaven it'll all be about singing n praising and sitting at the right hand of the throne. Not time for fussing about who's screwing who and who's in what relationship. You better be singing and loving and praising or ya might get tossed out.

Nothing is holding back gays from getting married in Idaho - same-sex marriage became legal there on October 15, 2014. It was Friday, October 17th, when the same-sex couple asked to be married by the Knapps. Nothing whatsoever was holding them back from being married by the JP or some other official who didn't object to performing the ceremony at the time this particular brouhaha started. IMHO it appears that the entire intent of the act and complaint, especially given the timeline, was to create dissent and attempt to rub their sexual proclivity into someone else's face.

Sadly, it seems to be a pretty common tactic judging by your arguments here especially including your misstatements about religious principles in an apparent attempt to inflame - intellectual or perhaps spiritual vandalism, if you will - trying to destroy or tear down whatever you don't agree with. Feel sorry for you if that's the best you've got, even more so if you really believe what you've been saying.

Other faiths don't allow gay marriage.

Muslims don't allow gay marraige. Many muslim countries have criminal punishments for being gay. Iran hangs them. Several muslim countries it is a death sentence to be openly gay.

Iran's former president ( Mahmoud Amadinejad) once told an audience of american university students that Iran doesn't have any gays people.
