She wasn't denied the assistance because of need. She was denied because she didn't fill out the paperwork correctly. Her denial letter probably stated that but she probably just seen denied and flipped out. Why on this earth would someone willingly move to Laredo, TX? She probably owed/owes someone for drugs and this was her only way out. I don't understand how one can shoot their own children, or harm them in anyway.

The last quote made me laugh. "This is the kind of thing you hear of happening in other places, but not in our quiet home town," in Laredo Texas? It is a border town.
