I cut the hindquarters up today and the same thing in parts of them I never seen anything as far as a worm I’m starting to think like was already mentioned it being veins just weird I have never paid to have a deer processed in my life and been cutting them up for over 40 years and never noticed it before

Can’t say I’ve ever seen worms in deer. People probably would be shocked in how many worms they have eaten in fish. Fresh and saltwater obtained commercially or caught by the angler.
There is no harm and no study has verified a difference in taste.
Eat em up!
I remember once in culinary school someone had a fillet of cod or something like that on his cutting board and when he picked it up there were a bunch of little worms on the board. It was pretty gross.
