XDM sight tool

Is there anyone out there that has the tool for changing the sights on an XDM or do you know of someone that can do it..

local shop i called wanted around $75 and i was not expecting the cost to be that high when i got the new sights..

You mean a vice, hammer and a punch. $75 bucks sounds like a decent price, imo. I've heard the XD sights can be a bear to remove because of how they are installed at the factory.

XDM sights have a press tool for removing and reinstalling.. If you use a punch and hammer it can brake them or you may never get it off.. Here is a video of one of the tools.

If i have to pay to have it done i will do so just thought i would look on here 1st.

Yes, I'm familiar with those types of tools. I'll hazard a guess that most shops will drive the old sights out and the new sights in with a punch and a hammer. So, I would definitely ask before you turn it over to someon to have the sights installed.
