Yes check out the 68 forums. There's guys in TX that lay out up to around 20 pigs a night with 68 ARs out to around 330 yards. Just check out them forums in the Hunting section, LOTSA dead piggie picks (tho ull probly have to sign up to see the pics fyi)

A 5.56 will do just fine with heavy bullets. However, the hog killingest dude I know swears by the 6.8 as THE hog cartridge, period.

That would be Bill Wilson of Wilson Combat fame BTW.

If you go with the 300 blk there is one in the classifieds :twocents: ( by me of course )

I think you would be great with either the 300 blackout or 6.8 in the ar platform. I personally like the versitility of the 300 blackout. Like others have said all of the parts are the same except the barrel and can be used suppressed. Makes a great PD or hunting weapon.
