The real reason OSU was not taken to the NC in 2011 is because it would have all but guaranteed the SEC would not win the championship, and that is the truth. Win or lose, LSU vs OSU would have been a much better game, on that EVERYONE agrees. Except for gooners.

Fact is that we will never know. OSU would certainly be a dog but upsets happen every week. What was it Utah a few years back that gave Bama an ass whipping in the sugar bowl? OU should have whipped Boise state and West Virgina too. You still have to play the game.
As far as 2011, LSU vs OSU would have been a good game. Les Miles/OSU beef, etc. Certainly would have been a more entertaining game.
I'll agree that OSU vs LSU would have been a better game to watch on one level, but it wouldn't have been the best two teams in the nation. I would have even worn OSU Orange hoping they could kick Les Miles' ass.

Nah, it's a different kind of deal. I've been on both sides of it and was a hardcore hater for a long time. I've walked across the OU campus in a black/orange band uniform and been subjected to all the childish comments you might imagine. I've done the smack talk myself but don't take part in it anymore. I hate the hate. Just wish the fans/schools had a little more respect for each other.
I hate watching the game too. Hate it. Did I mention I hate Bedlam? ;-)
