A couple of random thoughts. Seven people were arrested during the curfew Sat night into Sun morning. Of the 7 only 2 were from Ferguson. The highway patrol Capt they put in charge is starting to look really exhausted. I am starting to think the police need to pull out to the perimeter of the city and just let things happen. Don't stop people from coming in or out of the city just contain the violence to the city limits.

Starting to make sense why the local LE came in loaded for combat. They have decades of daily experience with this neighborhood while the MHP is currently getting a crash course in policing the people that live in Ferguson.

According to Ms. Mitchell, “The officer gets out of his vehicle,” she said, pursuing Mr. Brown, then continued to shoot.

Mr. Johnson said that he hid behind a parked car and that Mr. Brown was struck by a bullet in his back as he ran away, an account that Dr. Baden’s autopsy appears to contradict.

The testimony is that Brown was facing the officer with his hands in the air. Wouldn't that be consistent with shots to the inside of the arm? If the palms are faced forward That isn't exactly a threatening posture is it? And if you shoot a guy who's six four in the top of the head from thirty feet way... how do you do that?
I'm just throwing in my two cents with the rest of you Forensic Scientists.

We are just saying that some of the "eye witness" reports that started this protest were not factual.

Or going through the arms while he was charging. Same with shots going into the head if subject had his head lowered when he was charging.
