Debates are judged by content, how the debaters handled themselves, and so on. Debate classes in high school were like a basketball game when scoring who the winner was. It didn't matter what side of the subject you were on.

I wasn't going to vote for her, but I really hate immigrants and Trump speaks like English is his 5th language. Can't trust him. He must not be from 'round here.

Nixon is one of my favorite politicians, btw. Smartest person that will ever have that office.

They're both dishonest in some respect, but Trump still has my vote. He might want to re think his debate prep. Hilly isn't stupid and held her composure, while Trump seemed to be on a rant most of the night. "I didn't want to say some really nasty things because her Chelsie was in the room" Trump said after the debate. Politics is a blood sport. I think Hilly won this one.

Donald has one major issue and that's spending too much time on himself, leaving precious little time to hit Clinton on her significant vulnerabilities. When she spoke about all the women he's disparaged, he absolutely should've brought up how many women she's publicly attacked. He whiffed it.

I certainly am undecided. Why? Because I can't fathom voting for either one of the 2 clowns on display tonight.

Very debatable point but, even if true, he was completely undone by character and personality flaws.
Character does count. Intellect isn't enough, and in fact I would argue, beyond being reasonably intelligent, ceases being a whole lot of value added to a Presidential candidate. A President's main job is to provide steady leadership, ethical/moral guidance, and make tough decisions from among the options provided to him by his very intelligent staff members.
