Goats. They always start and put down fertilizer as they mow... Sit on porch, drink cold beer, talk to good wife, watch lawn get mowed....

That's what my DIL grandpa uses. I prefer Honda, or the old Lawnboys , last forever....

I have a Gravely push mower. Has a Kawasaki engine with spin off oil filter. This mower is bullet proof.

As a few posters have said, if it's not a riding mower, it has to have a Honda engine. The BlackMax line at Sam's is priced right and the mowers (other than the engine) are made by Husqvarna and it's very east to get parts for them.

I've looked at them, but that particular Honda motor doesn't have the best track record. It's reported underpowered, which I could live with... but it has a rubber timing belt in it. I can't get past that

Went with a Troy Built/Honda gcv160 3 in 1. It was on sale lol
