i carry a kel-tech .380 do you think it is big enough

I'd say it will do the job in most normal self defense cases. Practice with it and see how far you can accurately get hits on target. You want good hits to stop a bad guy with a .380 and you don't have alot of shots. When and if you can, I'd carry something a little bigger with a few more rounds but maybe keep the .380 for backup as well. Your best bet is to escape, but if your up close and personal the Kel Tec should be fine.
