Academy and Dick's have pulled all AR rifles from their shelves and they are no longer listed on their web sites. What's going on here I wonder?

Dick's doesn't surprise me, but Academy does. Heaven forbid someone sees an EBR and gets offended while doing some Christmas shopping.
I had heard that also.
As well as WalMart pulling them.
Maybe it is just that they are all sold out?

Kinda funny that all these places pulling ARs have been places I have never done business with or no longer do business with because they suck. High prices and low firearms IQ staff. My boycott on them has been long before now.
Thank God we've got FBT, SSP and BANG, Mark's Firearms and other OSA sponsors.
Sucks to hear Academy is pulling them now. Iv always wanted to work behind the gun counter there 
MY boycott started about an hour ago. I was fortunate enough to find what I needed at a local gun shop.
So with this in mind which sponsor is gonna be having special pricing for forum members on AR's, LOL? I'll be looking to buy within the next couple weeks. Wanting a basic M&P-15 Sport.
