Any idea? Its head was very wide at the base versus the nostril area. It went into a crack in the garage before I could get a broom.

Why would that require a broom vice say... a hoe, axe, shot gun, handgun, mace, bear spray, hair spray, lighter fluid?

Pretty much any thing to make that a dead snake.

So.....How much stuff do you have to empty out of the garage to find it? Maybe a trap of some kind?

Totally harmless and totally eats mice - so totally a friend of mine.
Yup. Good snake. They can startle you when you first see them, but leave it be....be mice free.
This is my buddy that lives in the barn. He comes around the house on occasion. To look in the window and say hello!

I'm gonna say immature Kansas Glossy snake, but that's just a guess, definitely harmless.
