Favor needed

I wonder if there's any younger able bodied person here that lives near me (Mustang area) who can do a few simple things for me. They are not simple for me but should be to others. I need my HVAC filters pulled down to wash and reinstall. They are reusable Hepa filters. The ceiling is 10' high and I have a good 6' ladder but an 8' ladder would be much safer. Also I have a smoke detector chirping because it needs a new battery and its driving me nuts. I just dont risk getting on a ladder anymore and I get vertigo when I look up.
I would pay you of course so if anyone is willing, I'd be greatly appreciative.
If your willing but dont have an 8' ladder, I have a buddy up the road who I can bowwow one from. My buddy doesnt get on ladders anymore either lol.

EDIT, after further thought, there are 3 smoke detectors that should get new batteries. Only 1 is chirping but the other 2 likely will soon.

You might call the Mustang FD non-emergency number. Per their Web site, they will deliver and install smoke alarms, so they might be willing to help you with changing the batteries.

I Just seen this, for some reason it didn't show up in New Posts. Do you have an 8' ladder or feel comfortable getting on a 6' ladder to reach a 10' ceiling?
Like I said I can borrow a buddies 8' ladder if needed. Tuesday will work since today is already late and I have other things to do still.
Maybe late afternoon, PM me and we can set a time exact.
