If the republicans wish to win they need to embrace the liberty movement. This includes some things many, if not most traditional conservatives are opposed to morally. Those people need to be reminded that we are not a theocracy and any laws of morality have no place in govt. policy. An embrace of liberty at all levels and all issues is the only way to differentiate themselves from the statists that run our country. Or we can nominate baptist ministers and wonder why people did not vote for them.

Or we can try it your way and wonder why we only get 5% of the vote. That is the most Libertarians ever pull.

Bachman is nowhere qualified. Cruz....maybe.

Neither one is ready but Bachman has more experience then Cruz I believe. I would vote for either over Hillary or Paul but hope for someone better.

Don't worry Rick, no one is going to embrace liberty. That **** is dangerous!!!

They will nominate a social conservative, status quo, statist politician and even if he were to win there won't be a damn thing changed from whatever democrat was running against them. Taint ever gonna change.

Another RINO.

But hes young, a minority, pro gun, supports a immigration policy, is fiscally conservative and is running in a swing state with a ton of electoral votes. And he has a (R) beside his name. Oh and he has the support of the tea party in his state.

He is, in my opinion, the future if the GOP. A moderate Republican.

The GOP is going to have to be progressive on some social issues. If it does not, our descent into socialism will be hastened by continuous Democratic rule.

They do not have to change a thing on social issues except for their immigration policy and then they need to start siding with the American worker. Where they need to change is their fiscal policy, right now they are not much better then the Dems. But they do not to stop letting themselves get baited into talking about social issues. No matter what they say, they are going to be wrong as far as the left and media are concerned.
