Help name my new puppy!

I always name my pets people names. My current dog is named Chester. I dunno. Just looked like a Chester.
This dog looks like a Douglas.

One of my favorite dogs was called Tundra. Still love that name.
Nikita aka Niki was another favorite.

He's a German shepherd so why not "Mauser"? It actually really seems to fit a German shepherd. I also like "Apollo" for shepherds. Here's also "Axel" which means bringer of peace which seems appropriate for a GS. "Bandit" works for German Shepherds, Collies and other shepherds, although, "Ruger" still seems best

I have grown fond of the name "Chesley" since the "miracle on the hudson." You could call him "Chess " or "chessy" for short, and you could be pretty sure when you called him he'd be the only one to show up. Don't know how Sully would feel about having a dog named after him.
