This weekend. Participated in an Advanced Carbine class. 2 instructors , 9 LEO and me. 500 rounds of .223 out of my Black Fire Forge 10.5” rifle and 250 rounds of 9mm out of my Shadow 2 pistol.

Last Wednesday I tried out some new loads for my match rifle. We just got 300yd. benchrest matches going at the Ponca City Gun Club range. Now that I've got the powder charge pretty close, I've got to get bullet seating depth figured out.

A few weeks ago went and zeroed my brother in laws rifle for his elk hunt in CO. 7mm Mag 100yd zero per his request. Shot 5 rounds total and was done. It was a very unfulfilling range trip. I need to get a longer trip in soon.

Today, went with my father and kids. Zeroed my AK after some changes and got everything in minute of bad guy. My son thinks my AK is easy, Koney would approve.

I noticed a gopher pushing dirt this evening so I ran in to get something stop him. I used 20ga to end his endeavor. This is not an admission that I own the 20ga.

The funny part about this is that one of the church ladies was near by but I couldn't warn her and chance scaring the gopher. It did scare her.
