Scheels coming to Tulsa

Another chain sporting goods store, Scheels, is coming to Woodland Hills Mall. They are going to tear down the old Sears location and build onto the mall. This is a firearm retailer as well. While I know LGS's are near and dear to our hearts, major chains usually have better prices and selection.

Why Tulsa? It should be in OKC.

They're a little spendy, but they have the ability to carry massive inventory. I don't think you can't find what you need in there.

Already a fairly covered market in OKC with two chain stores on opposite sides of the city. Besides, no land left in OKC big enough for a Scheels.

I love Scheels. The gun libraries in their stores is typically second to none. (At least 15 years ago that was the case)
With all that being said, Fall 2024 is a LONG ways away. Allot can happen between now and then. I am sure we will have at least a few more plandemics to navigate.

I went to the one in Colorado Springs and it was massive. I spend most of the day in there.

The only Scheels I’ve been to was in Fargo, North Dakota close to 20 years ago, and I thought it was the coolest store I had ever been in. I’m pretty sure there’s one in the DFW area that I’ve never made an effort to visit.
