Tornado Shelters

We don't have a shelter, but soil in our yard is pretty shallow before you hit solid rock (they blasted out a hole for our septic tank).

However... I'd be worried about an underground shelter in the garage, because if the house pipes burst you might wind up trapped in a watery grave. But I know you can't always prevent everything either.

Just a thought.

I have a flatsafe and have had no problems with it. They did a great job installing it. I park my corvette over it and have no problems parking.

The up side is I can use it as a pit to change the oil in my cars.
