Get a Vulcan. Afterall, they do make "the machineguns of the special forces". It must be true because it is on their website. 
In all seriousness Harrybear, you're going to be fine either way. Unless you plan on jumping into an extreme environment combat zone both rifles will do you just fine... and even then proper care and maintenance will probably take care of your needs. See what you can get a good deal on and has the stuff that you want and go from there.
