CMMG makes a dedicated upper 22 LR barrel and an Arthur Ciener conversion style bolt assembly that can be assembled on a regular ar upper. I've got one of these but with an A1 style barrel I made from scratch and I've had zero issues with it. I shoot 45 gr subs suppressed mostly but it will cycle anything from CCI quiets to Sniper subsonic and stingers.

These are not the firearms you're looking for.

I also really like my S&W 15-22. Has seen lots of use with no problems. Got extra mags at Academy.

Good luck in your choice!

I’ve never had a single hiccup using a CMMG 22 conversion, and at one time I had a Tactical Solutions dedicated 22 upper.
If I were to go back down that road again, I would go with the Tactical Solutions upper. :thumb:
