This is taken from "The History of Winchester Firearms 1866-1992".

The year of manufacture for serial number 361669 is 1924.


The 2 sources appear to line up pretty well.

Great score! I have its younger brother that was born in 1937. Second from the left next to the Model 42 in the pink sock. 16 gauge is my absolute favorite, my Model 12 16 gauge is a 28” Modified Choke. Looks like yours is unmolested and in nice shape.
