That's a sharp looking rifle! How do .223 Arsenals shoot? I've had my eye on a SLR 106FR that keeps taunting me with it's evil black rifleness.:drooling:

I kind of wonder if I made a mistake getting a 74. Ammo's cheap right now, but I wonder if it will disappear in a few years making all these 5.45x39 rifles useless. I have a vz-52 collecting dust under the bed right now, figured it makes a better club/spear at this point.

Pretty dang good, the only bad thing about Arsenals is they ruin brass. The ejectors on these things do thier job and then some.

I finally get to play in this thread! Just picked up an AMD-65 at Sooner Guns. It's a true Hungarian FEG rather than being made stateside. I was pleased with the price as well. I kinda like the quirkiness of the AMD. Ready for some fun!

Saigas dent brass up really bad, you can use weather stripping to pad your dust cover rim, or if it's actually the ejector maybe some polishing work would help.

Luckily AKs will eat steel cased ammo all day so it's no problem.
