I have a sorta odd question for the masses here. I have an upcoming funeral to go to this week for my wifes uncle who passed away sunday. My question is this, do you guys think it would be disrespectful to carry something (my Glock 30, Ruger LCP) to the funeral when I go?
I ask because I probably would not worry so much about it if it were just the church down the street from us that the service is being held at, however the graveside service is going to be later in the day in Woodward, Ok. And that is the real reason I am seriously thinking about taking something with me. I know at minimum I will be taking the Glock and the holster for after service and to leave in the car for the drive there and back. I am really thinking I would like to have the LCP in the pocket since it is so light and slim, it would not be very noticable. Plus there is always the concern for the "AKWARD" hug when you are carrying a gun on the hip. but the pocket carry is best way to solve that!
Anyways I wanted see what peoples opinions and thoughts are on the issue, and has anyone encountered or dealt with this personally? what is your story?
THANKS, Jeff
