They don't cook the onions enough and the burger meat falls apart in the bun.

Robert's Grill in downtown El Reno. Also Johnnie's and Sid's about a block or two away.
I've been to every place in El Reno (The birthplace of the onion burger) and I think Nic's beats em by a mile. Much more beef than anyone else. Like Cards81fan says, it's tiny and you have to get there early like at 10:45ish.
A friend of mine's dad used to own Coney Island in Stillwater. He makes them on occasions for the OSU Alumni Association/OKC Chapter. Their onion burgers are perfection.

Zombie you NEED to go hack to bunnies one more time but NOT for the burgers, get their chili cheese hot dog w/ onion lightly springled over top (i hate raw onion w/ a passion but it works on the dog) and some onion rings and you wont be disappointed.

Sids, and yes, they are awesome.
In OKC I prefer Bricktown Burgers, ate there today.

Nics and sids on the list then..and it can be surrounding towns - yukon el reno mustang norman edmond....I get around so I'll take em anywhere
