The amount of sensationalism is hilarious. California is a different breed I tell ya.

"Were you in the van just before it happened?"
"Yeah, about 10 minutes."
"OMG!! You must like, be happy to be alive or something. Don't you feel lucky?"

If I've ever seen leading someone to an answer.

I also like how the people who lived in the house it smashed through were reported to have slept through the cannon ball crashing through their front door and multiple sheets of drywall but were awakened by the "sheetrock dust falling". No you idiot, it just took them a few seconds to get out of bed.

I can sleep through a tyranosaurus attack but I'll be damned if a little dust doesnt get my flying out of bed.

The Alameda bomb range they used require them to take out an insurance policy for just this reason. Thank God no one was injured, though, because with the destruction that thing caused, I'm afraid it would've been a fatality for sure...

Almost unbelievable, through a wall, off a hill, into a neighborhood, up the stairs, in the room, out the wall, over the neighbors, across the highway, and into a minivan. Holy CRAP, was there a jet attached to that thing?

That's funny Alameda Bomb Range. When I was there in 1989 it was called Naval Air Station Alameda. Good times and bad women were had on that base.
