Guys and Gals,
I just got a call from one of my venders and he said somebody was spreading incorrect prices at the Claude Hall show about my admission prices.

I smell a Rat that someone is trying to sabotage my show or it could be an honest mistake and they did not understand the price break down but I don’t know why they would spread untrue info without getting clarification?

Please help squash this incorrect info.

So to clear everything up here is the break down:

You will only pay one of the below prices and not both I have no idea where somebody got the idea they were paying $5 and $6 combined for admission?

General admission is $6.

Active Duty/Retired Military, Disabled Veterans, Law Enforcement, Firefighters and OSA members the admisssion is $5.

If you bring in a gun to trade or sell admission is $5.

Children under 12 free

I hope this clears things up because I sure don’t want people to think I am charging them 2 combined prices?

Thanks Matt

Serious question for you. Not trying to bust anyone's chops or anything.

At what level of service connected disability does one become a "disabled veteran"? What proof does one need?

I've been to several shows that list a veteran's admission price and then ask me to prove it. It isn't like I (or other vets) carry around a copy of my DD214 in their wallet. I also don't carry around the letter listing my disability percentage.

Again, not trying to bust chops, just curious as to the criteria.

Dave

I heard recently that you'll be able to have veteran status added to your driver's license. I heard it on OETA during a segment about VA benefits in Oklahoma. The more veterans who register for VA benefits even if they don't intend to use them, increases the total amount of money the government gives to the OK VA program, which benefits those that do need it.

OKLAHOMA CITY - Oklahoma veterans could soon be honored on their driver's licenses. Monday, the state Senate approved legislation that would allow veterans to have a special emblem on their Oklahoma driver's licenses.
