I hope all of these people aren't spending their life saving or running up a ton of debt buying AR's, magazines, and ammo just to have it all taken away in a few months.

They probably are. I was gonna max out my cards on beer, twinkies, and women for the apocalypse, but guns and ammo seem legit too.

What pisses me off is that they are, in my opinion, parasites sucking the life out of the very customer base that previously propelled them to success. I love money, and Lord knows I love to make a profit, but what they are doing is profiteering off the fear many Americans feel now. I could understand if they raised the prices a bit. That's just a fact of business, but what they are doing is flat out disgusting.

I visited Outdoor America in OKC in mid November and then a month later, today, I walked in an noticed that in less than a month there was more drywall to see than rifles along the wall and most new pistols (Glocks) had to be ordered and the displays were not for-sale. While I was in there I overheard the continuous phone calls and the staff members on the handheld radios checking stock quantities on ALL high capacities mags. Before I could even make it to the sales counter they were sold out. This wasn't even a busy Saturday for them. Panic buying is definitely here and firearms and accessories have entered the scarcity zone.

Just for kicks I checked Gunbroker. Stripped DPMS .308 lowers were going for around $275 a few weeks back. Saw a couple on GB past the $500 mark. One seller had a stripped lower priced at $1200 BIN. Seriously.

Screw CTD. I have to say, the more I hear about them, the more I hate them. I hope we can build this site up to something huge and if they came calling to advertise, I will personally tell them to "Ef themselves."
