Thats what I said 1i years ago except it was 16 years of insanity. She finally settled down. I don't like her, but I don't hate her anymore, we get along well enough to make sure our son does well and has opportunities in life and uses them.

I hear ya brother. I've already had 15 years of her games and I'm tired of it. I could get along with her peachy keen starting tomorrow if she'd just straighten up... but she won't.

That lady that has 9 D's under her belt get's crazier by the minute.

Ya, In my ex's family, EVERYONE is deeeeeeeevorced and most multiple times. Her older sister is already looking at hubby number 4 and she ain't even cleared 40 yet. I suspect that the ex's new guy will get tired of her crap soon enough and he's not tied to her with children like I was. He'll probably be protecting his own interests and getting out of dodge quick as soon as he wises up.

My first divorce was my last, and the ex was bazonka for several years. I had full custody of my sons with her getting visitation. It was 5 years later before she agreed to get summer visitation. No biggie as I preferered she never saw them again, but the main issue I persue'd was to make sure there were no confrontations in front of the kids. I'd walk away at the first sign. My "new" wife of 22 years has never had an issue with the sons involving an argument or anything.
The "ex" has mellowed out, and I'll at least speak to her now. The oldest son still won't talk to her. Its his choice, not mine.

Sucks to hear about all this... I really hope mine doesn't turn out this way. Honestly, I am the one that left, because I just wasn't happy, and to be 100% truthful (it's therapeutic, I hear), she is absolutely blameless in every way. She IS the perfect woman, no doubt about it.

I just couldn't be happy, and that's all on me.

When I tell ya "perfect", guys, I mean perfect. Ask BB, she'll tell ya. I'm a prick and she's a gem. I just couldn't make it work. :( Luckily I don't see her ever turning psycho on me, for our son's sake.

I'm sorry to hear that Doc. I doubt yours will be any trouble at all from the sounds of it. I had warning signs that I ignored 15 years ago and ended up suffering through much more during the marriage than I even am now.

My first was a nut case, and did everything in her power to keep my son away from me. Since I made the US Army a full time job, it just made it easy for her to deny visitation. She pulled every dirty trick in the book, from telling her lawyer that I wasn't paying child support(almost every six months)(it was being paid out of my military pay every two weeks), I wasn't giving her enough notice before I was to pick him up, so on, an so forth. The day he turned 18 was the best, no more dealing with her, no more paying her. It still sucked, because she had done a pretty good job teaching my son that I didn't care about him. He just recently started to call an visit, seeing how my family is, and showing him that he wasn't hated or not loved. So pretty much what goes around, has come back to bite her. My son Justin has also learned he has a step-brother an step-sister who care about him.
