They might want to make some signs calling attention to the bullet holes in the hoodie as a visual aid for others who want to engage is similar practice's as Mr. Martin.

To bad there was a higher percentage of free black slaveholders in this country then there was of white slaveholders.

As for the 2nd question, there still are slaves in this country and as before the people that have them come in all races and colors.

Exactly. I have never seen race played this hard in my lifetime. The excuses & reasoning these people are giving for driving this issue is beyond ignorant & the agenda is obvious. It's sickening to watch honestly.

what historical value does this garment hold? I mean did it stop two nations from nuking each other? Did it change the way humans travel (wright brothers), oh did it fly itself around the world, or perhaps it has gone to the moon the first time.

Items I would expect in the Smithsonian have value, this shouldn't even be known about outside florida. Good Lord. Smithsonian council should not allow this or anything like it. Now that I read ALL of the original post, I see how this could happen, but what the hell, this case was still about racism?

This entire incident was about racism. I have heard the protesters state that GZ lured lil Trayvon into the situation, for the sole pupose of killing him. And the hoodie goes to D.C.....BHO claims it could've been him 35 years ago, and down in the history books it shall be.

Did they ever open up the sealed files on MLK? Who else was with him in the Lorraine?
