Yeah and it's NOT a no knock warrant (which I think is a whole other set of problems). Knock at the door, wait till someone comes to talk through door or opens door, and explain you have a warrant. We DO NOT open door if we're not expecting someone, sometimes will glance out to see who it is sometimes ignore it. If someone yells police we have a warrant, then I will go. Talk through the door until I see the warrant. This did not happen here!

IMO, there should be no swat. No "special" weapons are needed to police citizens. Special tactics, maybe for hostage type scenarios. Serving a warrent....nope, never....just be patient, and use time.

Im also if the opinion that Police should only be armed as well as citizens. If cops can use armored vehicles, APCs, flashbangs, teargas, class III or anything else, so should the citizens.

Furthermore I think Law enforcement should be held accountable and charged with crimes when violating the law. Knock the wrong door down, get charged with criminal trespasss, breaking and entering and possession of a firearm during a crime.

Military is a different purpose and argument.

This right here.^^^

If SWAT teams knew their lives, and jobs were at risk if they entered the wrong home, maybe it would happen less?
Watched a crime show last night (not fictional) where the US Marshals went in, armor-coated, etc...to kick in a guys door that jumped bail for camcording movies in a theater. The MPAA (motion picture association) had pursued his case....how exactly does a team get justification for such tactics?

But these cases get the "internal investigation" routine. Let the thin blue line investigate the thin blue line; yeah, that should be objective. Any potential act of wrongdoing by LEOs should get an independent investigation by an outside entity, not one by their own.

I'm afraid a wrong address raid would probably end bad for everyone involved at my house.
I hope they start a better practice of assuring this doesn't happen anymore.
This happens too often.

Well said.
