I have had a few dozen muscle cars, just sold a 76 vette Ttop to my buddy .
Is a 1957 4door chevy a muscle car ?
what about a 1947 dodge truck. Truck is finished..Tilt front and bed 350 from 1969 with 305 ported heads and TH350 trans pinto front and ford truck 9" on ford truck springs..18.6MPG 325 gears..went 165MPH on MOBoost dyno and 261Wheel HP

The 57 is going to also be a daily driver with original 283" only engine change so far was the intake and carb i stuck on it.
Building some interior now and a TH350 trans will replace the leaking but still working 2 speed cast iron glide.

I have a 1985 Monte Carlo SS I've owned since 1994. It has a Ford 9", TH400, 6pt rollbar, fuel system, ignition system and exhaust. It needs carb to oil pan and headers.

I have a 1991 Mustang LX I've had since 2003. Don Dial did the cage and it's good to 8.50. It also needs an engine. Here's a video from the Buick-Ford race several years ago. It had blown a header gasket and was on radials. I walked it off the line because I knew I had the Buick covered. It went 10.8x on this pass.

1970 Ford Torino Cobra, "Twister Special" edition, 429CJ, 4-speed. Like NavyChief's ride, no air, man. drum brakes, manual steering, but a bench seat.

Owned since the mid-80s, restored, deteriorated, and waiting to be rejuvenated again.
I know I dont have to tell you how cool and rare that is. Very cool!

1969 Firebird, owned it since 1978, my first car. I bought it off the original owner, and she had received it as a graduation present. If I can get a few things out of my shop to make room, I am going to start going through her. Unless I win the lottery and then I would send her out to a custom shop for some mild tweaking, discs on the front, etc.

My first car was a cousin to that one - a 1970 Ford Torino GT, 429, 4 speed Hurst. It did have air and power steering, though. Bench seat...heck, yeah!!

Bought it in 1973 in my senior year of HS, had to let it go after gas went crazy, got a 1974 Chevy Vega...biggest car mistake ever!!

I had a 73 roadrunner exactly like this, color and all, except it had a 340 ci engine.

Sure wish I'd kept it.

By 73 real detroit muscle was pretty much over but that car ran pretty good.

Here's my 63 Plymouth Fury the day I bought it (that's the previous owner lovingly touching her for the last time).
I'll post pics when I get it finished. It will take a few years to complete.
I have a 440 on the stand beside it in the garage.
