This is ISIS. Should we send our kids back there?

This video is from a blog. Its an ISIS video. This is what our media and Govt wont let you see. I wish there was an english translation.

Its very graphic. https://ia801509.us.archive.org/18/items/al_saleel_4/SaleelSawarim.mp4

Ive avoided these types of videos in past but I peeked and and reminded that the world is dangerous and ugly.

The Sgt Dahlgren thread and tRidoits thread about kids and war and military has got my mind whirling.

After 5 tours there in many capacities, I say no. This is Shi'ia/Sunni BS that Petraeus tried to fix with his infamous COIN approach and the 5 minutes it took for Maliki to destroy. Word on the ground from my fellow knuckledraggers is that the embassy is ok, but plans are being worked for defense/evac. Unfortunately, the air assets (RSO Air) is minimal and it would require many trips to get all out to BIAP. We'll see how it develops if the LOG runs into the greenzone (gas/food, etc.) gets turned away or ceases.

The only way I would support the US going back in is if it was done WWII style. How many Vietnams doe have have to endure as a country before we let the greatest military in the history of the world do what it does best?

When it comes here, to our back yard, will you change your mind Lurker?

Do you really think they are going to get any kind of unity to create an Islamic state under one banner in Iraq? They will be do busy being embroiled in a sectarian civil war that opportunities to come "here" will be limited. Thought my wife had some good analysis watching the news the other night. "Why don't we let them kill each other for a while instead of us."

On a side note, are these guys (ISIS) the same rebels that we were oh so concern about the Syrian govt using chemical weapons on? And McCain was wanting to arm?

Thems the ones. Did anyone take notice of how much material is US made vs from Russia/china. Giant Corporations are supplying them. Countries are supplying them.

Im starting to convince myself that this mess is like our Hog Problem. If we honestly want to eradicate hogs itd take a year or less. Since we dont, it must not be a problem because people still make money off hogs. Until they invade ur land, its somebody else's problem.

:thumbup3: I agree with your wife, let them kill each other and if they bring it on our soil then go over and devastate their entire countries so badly that it is enough to make that entire part of the world never want to step a toe out of line again. That is how wars should be waged, especially in this day and age with the tech we have.

They have the will, the have the money, they have the organization, and they have said we are a target. Seems to me this has happened in the recent past. That is why I asked the question I did.And yes, McCain the "boob" thought we could arm the "moderates" to the exclusion of the extremists. Turns out he was wrong.

BTW, I agree with letting them kill each other, as much as possible.
