I get a new wallet when ever my wife ridicules it because it is a torn, worn mess of leather. She ends up buying it for me several days later if I don't get a better one.

I used to have leather wallets but when I got so much stuff I had to put in them I switched over to a Big Skinny wallet. They are made out of a thin fabric and when loaded
up are not so thick as a leather wallet. I like it.

I graduated High School in 1980, I received several nice leather wallets as graduation gifts. I'm carrying the last one of those right now, it's looking a little worn but I'll probably carry it a few more years. So I guess I carry a wallet for ten plus years before I replace it. I break out a new one when the leather develops holes at the folds.

I've had my current wallet for 5 years. Fossil front pocket with cards on one side and money clip on the other. Not a broken credit card yet.

I bought my current one in Hawaii on the way back from a Gulf deployment circa 2006. Still have one from high school too, 93-97, just not a fan of tri-folds.

I used to carry one of those all the time, still have it, theyre great when carrying a little cash and a few cards. (Love their watches too, have 4 or 5 of em). I find myself going out alot of times with just a money clip and a credit or debit card tucked in the middle if Im out running around in sweats or track pants or basketball shorts. I have several different types of money clips.
