LOL, that came to mind because I heard on NPR this morning the extent that wealthy Greek homeowners will go to in order to evade taxes.
If a house is still under construction there are no property taxes due.
So, they build their new homes with re-bar sticking out at just the right places and, vouilla, no property taxes.
This could be interesting. Here is an island offering free land with a bunch of criminals for the most part.
