Left lane road hogs

Went to Wannamakers today from Ponca. 1.5 hour drive down 412.

Buddy said he wanted to drive.

After getting 10 miles down the HWY,

Me: Are you going to drive in the left lane all the way to Tulsa?

Him: My GPS says I have to make a left turn coming up.

Me: that is 89 miles from now.

Him: The closer we get to Tulsa the traffic gets worse. I want to get in position now to make my left turn. (Garmen GPS)

(I shat you not, this actually happened)

All the way down 412, people passing on the right. (illegal).

Me: do you see all the folks passing on the right?

Him: yes, but I have to turn left in 60 miles.

Totally serious this happened today.

Passing on the right is not illegal on a multi lane roadway. You should have told him to speed up (since everybody was passing him) and also move his ass over to the right lane.

I knew KS has passed this law, and know someone who's been ticketed for it.....................had no idea this was in place in OK. Word must not have gotten out!
